Hand Analysis: 10-Queen
This hand has long been one of my favorites in the game of poker, despite the fact that it can get you into trouble. For some reason I got attached early to the idea of noticing how often I seemed to flop straights and full houses with queen ten, and so from thereon I got used to playing it more frequently than others would. This tended to work out in my favorite, as when it missed I could get away, and for some reason I really did have magic effect in hitting what seemed more than an average number of flops. The poker online hand had a second effect for me at the same time, in that I became associated with these two cards. Whenever I was in a hand where holding queen ten would make a larger hand, if I bet and represented that casino hand, I would often get credit for it. This made it more valuable to play a bit more loosely, with the added value that when the board came in a way I could represent, I would win pots I didn’t necessarily have any business winning, and that others without that table image history would not win by betting aggressively alone.
